Power Purchase Agreements
(PPAs)

Частни дългосрочни договори за доставка на електроенергия

PPA is an agreement signed between an electricity consumer and an investor in a new renewable energy project. The user (buyer) undertakes to buy all the energy or a certain part of the production of the new project for a long period – 7, 10, 15 years or more. The guaranteed income from this long-term agreement facilitates the financing of the project, while the consumer has a guaranteed, fixed price of electricity for the period of the contract.

Frequently asked questions

There is no legal obligation for household consumers to switch to the free market. This means that switching providers for household consumers is currently possible, but not mandatory.
Household consumers should also keep in mind that the price of electricity on a regulated market for household consumers is lower than the market levels of the fixed tariffs now, including the fixed annual plan of TOKI. It is possible that the future stock price of electricity may be lower than the price of the regulated market, but this is associated with the assessment and assumption of market risk by each consumer. It is possible and probable that the opposite will happen.

On the site you will find detailed information about the subscription plans for electricity supply, including a calculator for the final price and sample invoices according to the selected plan and in the network of which energy distribution company (ERP) is your point of consumption. If you want to receive a specific analysis according to the specific consumption of your business, contact us at [email protected] or by phone 0700 13961
We will be happy to prepare a detailed offer. For this purpose, we will need the following information: * The network of the energy distribution company (ERP) that you use (or the address of the site); * Information about the type of user (household or business and hourly or STP profile) and the amount of your consumption; We will send you an offer most accurately and quickly if you send us a copy of the latest invoice issued by your current supplier.

We work hard to make the dealer change process as fast and hassle-free as possible. You will need only a few minutes to complete the application, and the signing of the contract can be done with an electronic signature immediately or by signing and sending us a scanned copy of the contract at a time convenient for you.
Immediately after that, we will start the procedure to change your provider.

If you have signed your contract by the 10th of each month, we will start the supply of electricity from the first of the following month. If the contract is concluded after the 10th of the month, then the delivery starts on the first day of the 2nd month after the conclusion of the contract – for example, if the contract is concluded on January 15, then the delivery starts on March 1.
This is because we need to arrange the transfer with your old supplier and the energy distribution company (ERP), which includes the collection and processing of meter data and the change of the supplier data at the ERP. According to the legislation in Bulgaria, the applications for change of the electricity supplier are submitted by the 10th of each month and the procedure is completed by the end of the same month.
The good news is that we will take care of this process and send you regular updates on the progress of the process.

All you must do is choose a subscription plan and fill in the provider change form on our website. It will only take you a few minutes.
All you need to successfully fill out the form is company details, an invoice from the current supplier to indicate the identifier of your measuring point and an electronic signature.
In case you do not have an electronic signature, TOKI will provide you with a way to sign the contract electronically, or if you prefer, you can sign in the traditional way.

Even if you do not have an electronic signature, you can still sign a contract with TOKI. After generating a contract, you can choose how you want to sign the contract – electronically, by email and remote verification or by courier.

No, the procedure is free and transparent.

No need, we will contact your current provider to notify you of the change.
The only thing we can’t do is terminate your old contract. If you have signed one, check the conditions for its termination in advance and send the necessary notice, notifying us of the deadline.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change or select a provider change date. The periodicity for changing the supplier is regulated and cannot be changed – it is always the beginning of the respective month before which the conditions for starting the delivery are fulfilled.

You can change the electricity supplier for all points of consumption of your business with 1 contract or with several separate ones, as you prefer.
To be able to manage all objects simultaneously in a common account in the client portal of TOKI, it is necessary to use the same e-mail address when registering new points.

There is no restriction in the change of supplier if the regulations and the contract with the supplier are observed.

TOKI is the only fully digital service for electricity supply in Bulgaria. Everything from choosing a subscription plan, signing a contract, paying monthly bills, and receiving monthly invoices is done electronically.
Also, TOKI is one of the few Bulgarian suppliers that offer green energy with a guarantee of origin.

The freedom to choose your supplier applies to all companies, regardless of the size of the company and energy consumption.

No, changing the power supplier does not change the network operator. You will only receive more favorable electricity prices, tailored to your individual profile.
